Jambo! (Hello!)
Well, it was kind of hard working Swahili in around the Thanksgiving holiday, but Thanksgiving was wonderful! While I didn’t get to spend much time learning new words, I did get to host a special Thanksgiving brunch at our church for four college students. It was a huge blessing! I am very grateful for the opportunity! We also squeezed almost 30 people into the woodworking shop at my sister and brother-in-law’s house for a wonderful Thanksgiving evening! I have never seen such a beautifully decorated wood shop as that one was on Thursday!
I did manage to get a few minutes in, mostly just listening to the audio for Unit 1 over and over – but at least it kept it fresh in my mind! Thank you for praying!
