Job 31 Projects, Projects

Let the Fun Begin! – "Job 31 Project" Update

Mrs. Dion (Pastor's Wife) finishing up a pair!

Imagine cutting out 45 pairs of little boys uniform bottoms in just 4 hours, impossible? Not when you have the help of a mighty God and an amazing group of ladies working diligently to make every moment count! God is so good! On Wednesday morning I made the trip from Billings, MT to Great Falls, MT (about a 3 1/2 – 4 hour drive, for those of you who are not familiar with the area.) and met up with some of the ladies from Fairview Baptist Church. I was so amazed at what I found when I walked into the activity room of the church. The ladies already had several tables set up in the middle of the room to use as cutting tables, and several more tables were set up around the parameter of the room with sewing machines ready to go.
We took a few minutes for prayer and then instructions and then the ladies set to work and kept on working until we had to start cleaning up so that we could set up for the evening service. By the time we were done we had about 5 pair completed and about 45 cut out! It was such a blessing to work along side of the ladies and get to fellowship and talk and laugh. We even had a little Bible trivia in our conversation. Here’s the question: Can you think of someone in the Bible, a disciple, who made clothes?  (Extra Points for Chapter and Verse! 🙂

Thank you to all of the ladies at Fairview who helped and for desiring to keep helping!
Please be in prayer for us. We have a work day here in Billings today, another on June 5th and another work day in Great Falls on June 9th. We still have an estimated 350 + hours worth of work left on this project and still need to get the shirts, sweaters and shoes. If you would be interested in getting involved, please email me or give me a call at 406.661.9366
Enjoy the pics below!
The first pair completed! Praise the Lord - only how many to go?

“She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands…

“She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff…

Karen - Who kept US in stitches!

“She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy…

“Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.”
